The play was first performed at Birmingham Repertory Theatre in 1998 and won the Best New Play Award from the Theatrical Management Association. It later made its debut at the Royal National Theatre's Cottesloe Theatre on 3 July 2002.
The Theatre Royal Haymarket production is directed by Jonathan Munby with Suranne Jones, Jason Watkins and Nina Sosanya for which Absolute are providing their Production Automation Services and Production Programming Services.
The automation includes several floor tracks and sliders which are used throughout the play.
