Absolute Motion Control are proud and excited to be providing the automation for “Young Marx”, the first production at the brand new Bridge Theatre, which opens this October.
The new Bridge Theatre opens on 26 October 2017 (previews from 18 October) and is home to the London Theatre Company, founded by Nicholas Hytner and Nick Starr after their departure from the National Theatre.
Absolute will be providing the control system to power the show’s effects, including a six ton revolving truck.
We have previously supplied smaller motion effects to productions, as well as working in collaboration with existing suppliers to provide automation for shows in the West End. However, this production marks our move into providing larger-scale automated effects created “in-house”.
Also, Young Marx will be broadcast by National Theatre Live on 7 December, the first occasion where you will be able to see our work in the cinema.
