The musical premiered at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield on 13 February 2017, directed by Jonathan Butterell.
We provided our Production Automation Services and Production Programming for the West End Transfer, which opened in November 2017.
The automation for the production included four floor tracks, a hydraulic lift, a friction drive truck, and cloth rollers. On this production we worked with a third-party automation supplier, who provided the equipment. The installation was managed and staffed by Absolute. We also provided a programmer to plot and set up the show during the technical rehearsal period, handing over to the production’s operator on opening night.
