Absolute Motion Control were engaged by production manager Damian Partington and technical director Rob Casey at Ammonite Studios to deliver a hugely ambitious production of Othello at the Haymamrket Theatre, designed by Ti Green. AMC supplied 11 of their RORO winches to seamlessly pivot and fly various scenic elements during the impressive ‘storm’ sequence, all pre-mounted on a large mother truss structure by Unusual Rigging. They also provided a winch to move a bed up and downstage, a complete Triple E slider solution, and three drawstring encoders.
