Absolute Motion Control were brought on board to design and supply a bespoke automation package for the West End transfer of Inter Alia at the Wyndham’s Theatre, the critically acclaimed legal drama starring Rosamund Pike that went on to win Best Actress at the Olivier Awards 2026.

A purpose built performer Lift (engineered by AH Entertainment Engineering), two floor track winches and four direct flown RoRo Winches worked in concert to bring Miriam Buether’s striking set design to life, serving a production where the shifting, dynamic staging was integral to the storytelling itself.

Controlled via a Desk[Five], two Rack[Four]s and a Safety[Controller], the system delivered accurate, repeatable cue execution night after night, with the safety and reliability that a busy West End run demands.
