Absolute Motion Control were commissioned by production manager Matt Towell to deliver the 28-axis automation system for the UK tour of the smash-hit Royal Shakespeare Company production of Matilda. The system featured winches for floor tracks, motors for 12 sliders, braking and motors for the iconic flown swings, and bespoke controls for locking safety devices and small props. Engineered to handle the demands of a fast-paced tour, the system allowed for rapid, hassle-free installation at every venue.
